If you do not see a specific insurance company listed, please call us immediately at 410-531-1900 so that one of our patient coordinators can call the insurance company to verify that Howard Open MRI Center is in network.The insurances designated in blue do not require pre-authorization and the insurances that are coded red may require pre-authorization. See the “Radiology Pre-authorizations” section below for more details.

The insurances designated in red require pre-authorization or require a check to see if pre-authorization is required for your plan. For those insurances, Howard Open MRI Center will contact the insurance carrier to determine pre-authorization requirements. We will work with your doctor’s office to obtain the pre-authorization.
In most cases, we are able to obtain your pre-authorization within hours but some insurance pre-authorizations can take several days. We work hard to get pre-authorizations as quickly as possible. Please call us at 410-531-1900 to get your pre-authorization needs met right away.
